We need each other
Hungry for engagement
In a world of digital estrangement
Hence we cling onto the words
That bridge the loneliness
The gap between our screens
The vacant spaces in between;
The love we long and yearn for
And the emptiness of
Being left starving for so much more

No worries :) and thank you!
If you’ve been following the news recently you’ll have seen that things have been heating up a little a bit between John Lydon and Russell Brand over voting in our elections. While there is debate over what exactly Russell said regarding ‘not voting’, I readily agree with John about voting no matter what, if you don’t vote then you can’t complain. Yes it might be voting for the least worse option, but we have to be thankful that we live in a country that has a free vote and that it can make a change.
The other upside to this debate is that it is generating debate! No matter what side you’re falling to, we’re talking about it (in a hopefully healthy way)
Remember, the choice is yours.
Think last night was without a doubt the sweatiest shows we’ve been to this year! An astounding night from local boys The Ainsley Band, Purple (all the way Texas ya’ll) and of course the rock ‘n’ rolling Subways! If you’ve not checked any of these guys out then trust me, you’re missing out.
